How it works

This is an excellent opportunity to earn extra for yourself, help charity and widen your teaching career. All teachers are welcome to join our association, for FREE, in three easy steps.

STEP 1

Please email us with the following information at;  

becomeatutor@thetutorsassociation.co.uk  (you must be over 18 years old)

- Name
- Address, including postcode
- Contact telephone number
- Subjects and level taught
- Your hourly rate
- Your email address
- CRB or Subject Access number
- Qualification
- Details of your teaching experience
- How you heard about us

STEP 2

We will confirm your email asking you to send a photocopy of the following via post or email;

- ENTIRE CRB check. We need a copy of both the entire front and back
- proof of address, such as a bill, bank statement or letter from a government agency.
- photographic ID, such a passport or driving licence
- teaching and/or professional qualification

STEP 3

You will hopefully receive emails from potential tutees in your area.  We ask all tutors to make a £2.50 payment to us for every one hour tutoring session they have booked through The Tutors' Association.  A link to a PayPal payment site will be emailed to you will full instructions at the end of each month.
